Vettakkorumakanpattu
While the Pantheerayiram is conducted on special occasions and is conducted on grander scale, usually as part of an offering from a devotee, The Vettakkorumakanpattu is in a more concise format, lesser rituals and therefore shorter in duration. It is normally conducted as an annual ritual.
Most of the rituals are similar to the Pantheerayiram. The most conspicuous difference being the number of coconuts broken. Unlike the Pantheerayiram, anywhere between 3 to 12008 coconuts are broken
